OMAstream

Computer science for Civil Engineering

Over time, the practice of integrating sensors into engineering works subject to structural monitoring has become standard practice. This has been a real revolution, made necessary by all the extraordinary possibilities that this approach offers.

About the project

This Software describes a true paradigm shift: an innovative system that, thanks to its special architecture, is able to accurately extract key information from an OMA, overcoming the limitations of established methodologies. Compared to the state of the art, the project has evolved, enriched with a new modern graphical interface for an intuitive and dynamic user experience, as well as modules that automate the download of raw data directly from the provider's cloud and convert it from its original format to one that is truly useful for processing.

OMAstream is built to make structural monitoring autonomous, reliable, and operational at scale. The platform reduces manual effort in the full pipeline: raw data retrieval, conversion, processing, and interpretation of OMA results in a single workspace.

The objective is not only to speed up technical workflows, but to provide a clearer decision layer for long-term infrastructure observation, where repeatability, traceability, and usability matter as much as algorithmic performance.
